Vitasoy is a Hong Kong beverage company, originally founded in 1940. Initially producing products using high-protein soy milk, Vitasoy branched off with other popular brands, such as Vita, which consist of flavoured teas and juices. The Vitasoy and Vita drink range is instantly recognisable among schoolchildren in the region, as it is often found in canteens and school tuck shops. Vita's Sugarcane Juice Drink from Concentrate comes in six, easy-to-drink, small, drink cartons - each with their own attached straw. Sugarcane juice is the liquid sap of the sugar cane plant. It has a mildly sweet flavour, and is very receptive to added ingredients, such a mint or ginger. On its own, it tastes like a sweet water with plenty of earthy sugariness. A light refreshing drink to enjoy on a hot summer's day.
